Earrings with flint dart from Mauritania. This piece is set with two arrows dating from the Neolithic period of Mauritania. The flint arrowheads, locally called boucharaye, which in hassanyya means "canine" are pointed and micro-serrated with bifacial retouching. The Saharan Neolithic period is between 4000 and 2000 BC.
