Jug in light beige terracotta with a light tan slip and reddish paint. Globular body with oblique spout, flat bottom and handle that is slightly flat and large, placed vertically and high on the body. Horizontal stripes of brown and orange alternate regularly on the outer portion of the body, creating continual registers of decor. Three bands are painted on the inside edge of the spout. Good state of preservation, well preserved polychromy.
Sub-geometric ceramic from Dauno, southern Italian region corresponding to the current Puglia. Several vases of this geometric period have been found in the San Severo area.
