The Bijarchéo Collection is an exclusive trademark of jewellery from Galerie Golconda. Each unique model is crafted using authentic archaeological pieces. Only the most valuable metals such as gold and silver are used so that each piece can be worked in accordance with the traditional methods and manners of ancient jewellery. Under the Roman Republic (509-27 BC) monetary magistrates, appointed by the consuls, struck the Roman coin. Choosing legends and monetary types, they conveyed a political message. These deniers represented the personification of the city of Rome, becoming a symbol of its power. Their flip side refers, for one, to the expected victory of the Romans over the Carthaginians during the Third Punic War (149-146 BC), and for the other to the legendary intervention of the Dioscures , Sons of Jupiter, during the battle of Lac Régille of 496-494 BC, a Roman triumph over the Latins and the Etruscans.
