ORIGIN: Ocarinas are small wind instruments in an ovoid shape (with globular tubes) drilled with 2 to 11 holes. Its origin is very ancient and many different types can be found, in many different shapes, all over the world. This one, which was found in South America, is of a particularly big size. The female is richly adorned with jewellery such as the Nariguera for the nose and bracelets.
